I drove it home back in July, ran well, of course it was bobtailing, so who knows yet.. Great to know when needing parts I tried running the Pete’s VIN, but nothing came back, possibly indicating that the original engine was a Cat, Det, etc.. E-bay has them, at about $250-300, ouch Any ideas to share would be great, thanks.. Thanks for the help guys, it’s much appreciated The Cummins engine id link works real well.. As previously mentioned, the engine is an ’88 NTC-315, out of a Volvo, so it’s a replacement.. As I have a M F Reader, does anyone know how to obtain a set of parts M F?A service manual for it would also be a big help.. The shifter linkage is really played out, can’t grab reverse at this point I’m having a hard time getting parts (go figure), and every time I call, the dealer has to ’pull up the micro-fiche’.. I’ll call the Pete dealer and see if they’ll de-cipher the VIN for me It really needs nothing major, a lot of small stuff. e828bfe731
